The local market seems to have reached bottom as inventory dropped below 6900 units in August and the number of closed transactions is not down quite as much (15.7%) as first and second quarters. The "Cumulative MLS Statistics" below open as a .pdf file and provide a very clear snapshot of the current market compared with previous years. I hope you enjoy the update and please forward this email to any of your colleagues who may be considering buying a home in the near future. If you have any questions or would like to discuss the market in more detail please don't hesitate to call my cell.
